Request Account Deletion

To request deletion of your SELE / Language Learning Hub account and associated data:

1. Email us at hello@sele.example .
2. Include subject line Account Deletion Request, your registered email, display name, and confirmation that you want permanent deletion.
3. We will process the request within 30 days and confirm by email when complete.

Important

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Confirm carefully before requesting.

What we delete

• Personal profile information (name, email, profile picture)
• Learning progress and quiz results where stored in the app
• Course enrolment and completion records tied to the account
• In-app messages and preferences
• Authentication credentials for that account

Retention

• Immediate: personal identifiers removed from active systems where practicable
• Up to 30 days: account and learning records purged
• Up to 90 days: backups and logs (then anonymised)
• Legal compliance: some records may be kept longer when required by law
